If the comic above is a bit confusing, MuslimHeritage.com created a really wonderful animation showing how the elephant clock worked. There’s also a twenty-foot model currently touring the world with the 1001 Muslim Inventions installation, and right now it’s making its US debut at the New York Science Museum ! It’s free to see with regular admission, but it’s only there through April 24th, so go soon!
